Pankaj Mishra obtained his M. Pharm. degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), India where he worked on the dissertation title 'Novel Multi-target-directed ligands against Alzheimer's disease: Design, synthesis, experimental and computational evaluation' and B. Pharm from SBSPGI, Dehradun, India. In his previous position, he has also supported the Open Source Drug Discovery (www.osdd.net/) initiative of the Government of India. He was TATA CSIR OSDD Fellow at CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute, India, where he was responsible for ligand-oriented design of CDRI-830 analogs and the target identification of phenotypic assay based anti-tuberculosis lead, Virtual screening (VS) protocols development and execution to discover the inhibitors against M. tuberculosis clinically validated drug targets and structure-based drug design.
